This workshop is FREE for DATTA Vic members, but registration is essential. Non-members can partipate at the cost of $25 per student.
Schools can send one female teacher with a group of up to 5 female students. (*Please ensure you enter the number of students in your group when you book.)
This event will be hosted by Templstowe College's Rianne Burroughs and Mount Alexander College's Sarah Lee-Johnston.
If possible, schools should bring along their own VEX robot.
The program is as follows:
9:30 - Meet and greet at Mount Alexander College
10:00 - Introduction to the VEX Robotics Program
10:30 - Building Robotic Bases
11:30 - Picking up the pieces
12:30 - Lunch
1:00 - Programming Driver Control
1:30 - Practice Matches
2:00 - Programming Autonomous
2:30 - Autonomous Practice
3:00 - end of session
