Introduction to Fusion 360 (PL1925)

This workshop will introduce teachers to designing in Fusion 360, and will cover basic 3D Modelling techniques that could be easily adapted to a year 6 - 12 design program. Participants will also be designing and exporting a complex project for laser cutting. 

The program covers:

9:00 - Registrations

9:30 - Working in 2D

10:00 - 3D Space

11:00 - 3D modeling for 3D printing

11:30 - Exporting models for 3D Printing

12:00 - Lunch

12:30 - Using parameters in design

1:00 - Modeling for Lasers

2:00 - Copying/projection/Workplanes

3:00- Exporting for Lasers

3:30 - Wrap up 

Participants must bring their own laptop. A link to the required software will be supplied on booking.
