Success with Systems Engineering Forum (PL2036)
This forum is for leading teachers and faculty heads who are DATTA Vic members or partner schools of Banyule Nillumbik Tech School.
Are you interested in offering VCE Systems Engineering at your school? Do you need better opportunities to up-skill your staff in mechanical or electrical systems? Do you want to engage more girls in STEAM?
DATTA Vic and the Banyule Nillumbik Tech School wish to establish a professional learning program for teachers of Systems Engineering with a particular focus on schools who wish to offer it as a VCE subject for the first time, and also for educators who are new to teaching or come from other learning areas. We also want to explore ideas for Year 9 & 10 electives which offer clear paths to the VCE subject for students.
We are therefore inviting teachers and faculty heads to join us in an after-school forum where you can contribute to the development of this program. Over a coffee, you'll get the chance to share any barriers you face to delivering Systems, discuss what kinds of professional learning would be most helpful to your staff and explore new ways to engage students in STEM.
This session is free for DATTA Vic Members and Banyule Nillumbik Tech School partners, but bookings are essential.
