Your school might already own a laser cutter and/or 3D printers, and you might even know how to use them, BUT do you know how to properly care, clean and maintain for your machines? (Especially if you don't have a Technician in house!)
This professional learning session is perfect for teachers/technicians who want to learn about the software, care and maintenance of their laser cutters and 3D printers.
STEM Educator, David Payne, will guide you through a whole day of learning about these amazing machines!
Banyule Nillumbik Tech School have Trotec Laser Cutters and Ultimaker 3D Printers and these machines will be used for demonstrations, but the concepts learnt on the day will mostly still apply to your school's machines!
You will learn about:
- the software for your laser
- how to clean and maintain your laser
- things you should do before and after each use of your laser
- the software for your 3D printer
- how to clean and maintain your 3D printer
- how to change the filament of your 3D printer
- how to troubleshoot issues with the laser &/ 3D printer
