The new VCE Systems Engineering study design will be implemented from 2026, and this in-person workshop is designed to get you ready for the semester ahead.

The session will break down the study design for Unit 1 (Electrotechnological Systems Design) and Unit 3 (Ethical Systems Design), offering essential advice on addressing key skills and knowledge, developing engaging tasks, assessment approaches, cross-study specifications and much more.

Colin will focus on;

Unit 1

• Unit 1 Outcome 1 - Electrotechnological systems design and society
• Unit 1 Outcome 2 - Creating electrotechnological systems design
• assessment
• cross-curricular priorities
• embedding skills in innovation, complex problem solving, leadership and teamwork in your teaching 

Unit 3

• Unit 3 Outcome 1 - Integrated and controlled system principles and design
• Unit 3 Outcome 2 - clean energy technologies
• school-assessed coursework
• the school-assessed task
• external assessment
• preparing for the exam
