This award is for excellence in the teaching of Design and Technologies education in a primary school environment.

This could for instance, be awarded for:

• Excellence in the development of a new Technologies program
• Innovation in the teaching of Technologies education
• Continuing excellence in the teaching and promotion of Technologies education in a primary setting
• Creating an innovative STEM program

Criteria

• The teacher is a classroom teacher (includes specialist teachers).
• The program developed/delivered falls within the curriculum guidelines
• The teacher displays excellence in his/her approach to the teaching of Technologies education in line with current pedagogy
• The teacher must be a DATTA Vic member
