This resource includes the recording and presenter slides from our May 2026 professional learning activity, which will set you up for success with teaching Unit 2 - Mechanical systems design. Delivered by Colin Chapman, this is an essential PL for all educators who are teaching the new Systems Engineering study design. There will be a particular focus on key skills and suitable assessment tasks, including the use of multi modal records of evidence. As well as offering clarification on terms, Colin will also unpack the relevant new concepts within the study design, including cultural and historical influences on engineering design and inclusive design.
