This online workshop supports teachers to develop their own effective practices to ensure they protect themselves and their students and address Department of Education requirements. The session was led by Michael Essex from Hume Central Secondary College, who unpacked his school's approach to managing risk. He'll discussed how he uses the DoE risk assessment documents, student licenses for restricted plant, safe work method statements and materials safety data sheets.
