Join us for a day of exciting professional learning, at the Abbotsford Convent where the beautiful and lush surrounds should really get your creative juices flowing.

Run by the talented and experienced Art, Textiles & Design and Technology teacher, Chantelle Taxis, you will learn some fun and creative techniques and use a variety of different equipment to create fashion illustrations – not only garments!

She will also take you through how to annotate your illustrations using the correct terminology to discuss designs - the elements and principles of design. 

This session is directed to teachers that are new to teaching textiles but is a great session for teachers that need some sacred, dedicated time to practice skills that they would like to share in the classroom.

Please try to bring the following items:

• scissors/cutting knife
• coloured/watercolour pencils
• lead pencils
• eraser
• sharpener
• watercolours and paint brushes
• black waterproof pens
