DATTA Vic is delighted to announce that bookings are now open for our 2024 teachers' conference, Movers & Makers.
This event will celebrate how Design & Technologies education can equip young people with creative and critical thinking abilities, adeptness in communication and teamwork and essential skills in traditional methods of making and emerging technologies. This is the place where the problem solvers of the future are made.
We'll have over 25 workshops suitable for teachers of primary, secondary and tertiary Design & Technologies, VCE Product Design & Technologies, VCE Systems Engineering and STEM.
Our members will have the opportunity to upskill in engineering principles and systems, fibre production and materials and technologies specialisations (wood, metal, plastics, textiles, CAD, electronics, coding and robotics, etc) as well as digi-tech.
You could upskill in natural fabric dyeing, experience a coding project based on Taylor Swift, explore sustainable engineering projects in Victoria or upcycle plastics into new products - all in one fantastic day of workshops!

CONFERENCE KEYNOTES
We are delighted to be joined by not one, but three keynote presenters at this year’s conference! These award-winning young designers and engineers will be sharing their creative processes, discussing the VCE products that saw them take out the Eckersley’s 2024 Top Designs prizes, and offering advice on how to best support students to achieve success in Design & Technologies.
