We are looking very much forward to welcoming you to our our special members' event & Annual General Meeting evening at one of Victoria's Tech School's in the lush surrounds of the Yarra Valley!

We're delighted to have our keynote presentation delivered by the founder of Treasuring Our Trees, David Ferrier, who started TOT after the devastating storms that ripped through the Dandenong Ranges and the Yarra Valley in 2021.

David wanted not only to find a way to make use of the trees that were brought down in the winds, but also to start a venture that allowed people to heal and learn about regenerative practices. These trees are turned into yarning circles and furniture which are then returned to the community.

David will be speaking to us about the story behind TOT, how they are building  relationships with local communities and schools and give some more insight into how connection to nature, community and country is the path to moving towards sustainability. This is an inspiring story of circularity and ethical design.

At The DATTA Vic AGM, you'll also get to hear about the work we've been doing on behalf of our members over the past year. This meeting offers you the chance to have a say in the running of YOUR association.
