This professional learning activity, delivered at Melbourne University's beautiful School of Design, will get you ready to implement your curriculum in 2025, whether you will be teaching VCE PD&T, VCE Systems Engineering or the new Design & Technologies years 7-10.
You'll get an introduction and overview from Curriculum Manager Dr Leanne Compton and Director, Curriculum Revision Gerry Martin from the VCAA.
Then you'll have the chance to attend TWO of the following sessions:
- Getting ready to teach Design & Technologies 2.0 in 2025
- Getting ready to teach VCE PD&T in 2025
- Getting ready to teach VCE Systems Engineering in 2025
These workshops will unpack the curriculum, offering tips on addressing key concepts, skills and knowledge.
After lunch, you'll all have the chance to start your own planning for the new year. You can work alone, with colleagues from your own faculties or with teachers from other schools for some outside inspiration! Our experienced presenters will be on hand to offer guidance.
Thanks to the Melbourne School of Design for their support for this program.
