We're looking very much forward to welcoming you to our home grounds at the Abbotsford Convent for our special members' AGM evening: 

Allow us to showcase the beautiful Convent buildings and surrounding gardens while we are joined by a Wurundjeri Elder and talk First Nations Culture and all things sustainability.

We're delighted to have a Welcome to Country by Wurrundjeri man Daniel Ross, who is a team leader with Wamara, an Aboriginal owned and operated civil contractor which aims to strengthen First Nations' participation in the construction industry.

After this, we'll have a keynote presentation by Design and Technologies teacher Michael Dale (pictured above left), a proud Nukunu man from South Australia now living and teaching in Victoria. Michael runs an annual First Nations Day for year 8 students at Mount Lilydale Mercy College. He'll be sharing how he has developed this program to celebrate First Nations' culture and heritage, and exploring some of the design-based activities his students take part in. He'll be accompanied by DATTA Vic's own Jacinta O'Leary, who supported Michael with the project.

At The DATTA Vic AGM, you'll get to hear about the work we've been doing on behalf of our members over the past year. This meeting offers you the chance to have a say in the running of YOUR association.
