In 2019 and 2020, record-breaking temperatures and months of severe drought fueled a series of massive bush fires across Australia. Tragically lives were lost, and more than 10 million hectares of bush, forest and parks across Australia burned. The Design & Technologies curriculum provides the opportunity to engage our students in addressing the problem, and empowers young people to consider how we can act to tackle issues related to the climate crisis. This toolkit shares resources and good news stories you can use with your classes.
